New Announcements for May 24

7th/8th Grade Soccer: The lady hawkeyes had their final game of the season yesterday against Zeeland Creekside.  The 7th grade team played their hearts out but came up short against the Dux, losing 8-1.  The 8th grade team finished up their season with one last win, completing their undefeated streak this year!  8th graders won 8-1 with a great game played by all!  Goals were scored by Alexis VanderZwaag, Ellary Haverdink, Megan VanderKooi and Olivia Visscher.  Way to go lady hawkeyes!   


For Wednesday and Thursday announcements:  Yearbook Club Members, we will be meeting on Thursday after school in Room 33 from 2:45 until 4 p.m. to prepare for handing out this year’s yearbooks.  Please come if you can!  


Boys Track will dismiss at 2:25 today.  Please meet the bus by the paper gator and hustle.  Bus leaves at 2:30 sharp!


Girls Track will dismiss at 2:40 today.  Please meet the bus by the paper gator and hustle.  Bus leaves at 2:45 sharp!

If you are planning to participate in school sports next year you need to have a new physical on file.  To help you with this we are offering physicals to our current 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th grade students on Wednesday, May 31 at 6:00 p.m. at the High School - Cost: $20.00.  5th graders - next year (as a 6th grader)  you may participate in cross country, swim/dive, wrestling and track. If you plan to do any of these sports you will need a sports physical on file.  All other sports for you will be through the Hamilton Rec program and you will not need a physical for Rec sports.  6th & 7th grade students - You will need a sports physical for any school sponsored sport.  8th graders - you will also need a sports physical done if you plan on doing any sports in high school next year.
