Is your child not in school?  If your child is sick or not attending school, you MUST call our school attendance line before school starts at 269-751-2248 and leave a message. If no phone call is made, the student is marked as an uncleared absence.  If attending an appointment, please bring in the dentist/ortho/doctor’s note to excuse the student’s absence.

Sports and Attendance:  A student must be in attendance ALL DAY in order to participate in that days practice or contest.  If a student has a scheduled appointment, a doctor’s note must be brought to school with them in order to participate in that days practice or contest.

Early Pick-up:   If your child needs to leave school before the end of the school day, please write a note and have your child get it stamped by the office.  The child gives the stamped note to their teacher.  The person picking up the student must sign the student out in the office.

Bus Passes:   Bus passes will only be issued if a student needs to be dropped off at a non-custodial parent’s house in our district.  We will issue a pass to that parent’s house with a note from a parent.  Bus passes are not issued to go to a friends house to do homework or play.

Do you like to get moving before school?

GYM SHOES should be worn if you are going to play games on the courts before school.  It keeps the floors looking good - thanks.

If you forgot something at home (like a lunch, homework, water bottle, practice clothes or other items) and you know mom, dad or a relative will drop it off for you you must check the “Student I Forgot This” table in the office periodically throughout the day.  With over 800 students, we will not be calling you down to the office.

If you need to call home during the day, you must first ask Miss. Kris or Miss Kelli to use the phone, then follow the directions next to the phone.  Important: If no one answers, you NEED to leave a message.
