Graduation Requirements

Hamilton High School encourages students to participate in a variety of Work Based Learning Experiences while in high school. Click on the links in the interactive document to learn more about encouraged activities.

Encouraged Experiences

Find all of the WBL Forms a student might need related to absences and verification.

For students wanting to participate in Work Based Learning during the School day, a student must complete the following student to avoid an unexcused absence:

  1. Take the WBL Verification Form with you to your experience, complete it, and submit it to the Student Services Office with the appropriate signatures within three days of your experience.
  2. Complete the reflection in Naviance

Once the two steps have been satisfactorily completed, a students attendance code will go from “Unexcused” to “School Related”. School Related absences do not show up on a high school transcript.

Co-Op is a paid work experience that happens as part of a senior student's school day/classes. Paperwork necessary for Co-op can be found here.
