Hamilton Middle School has yet again earned national recognition from U.S. News & World Report, receiving a 2026 Best Middle Schools badge as part of the publication's annual rankings.

The rankings evaluate thousands of public middle schools across the country using student achievement data in English language arts and mathematics, measuring how schools help students build a strong academic foundation during the critical middle school years.

Hamilton Middle School's recognition reflects the district's continued commitment to academic excellence and student success. According to the U.S. News rankings, Hamilton students perform more than 20 percentage points above the Michigan average in English language arts and more than 25 percentage points above the state average in mathematics, demonstrating strong achievement across core academic subjects.
