Graafschap Fire Department teaches Blue Star Elementary students about fire safety

On Monday, October 10, members of the Graafschap Fire Department took time to visit Blue Star Elementary and teach every class about fire safety.

The fire department brought the Holland Fire Department Fire Safety House to the school to give the students a real-world experience of how to look for and escape fire safely.

Students learned about “get out, stay out,” how to identify a fire through a door, the importance of developing a meeting place, and much more.
