Teacher Evaluation Process

The new Hamilton Community Schools Teacher Evaluation Process was implemented beginning in the 2011/2012 school year and meets the requirements of Sections 380.1248 and 380.1249 of the revised Michigan School Code.  Determination of effectiveness is based on the Standards for Teaching described in the rubrics.  Student growth data is a significant factor in the determination of effectiveness.
