We know there are many factors to consider when choosing a district. We hope the following information will help you get to know Hamilton a little better. While a website can provide some great information, we hope you'll give us the honor and privilege of meeting you. We'd love to introduce you to some of our staff, check out our programs and facilities, and confirm for you that you want to join the Hamilton Hawkeye family!
A Hamilton education... personal experience with exceptional results!
We're here to educate and we take that seriously. Please check out the curriculum page for test results and programs to reach all students -- the students who need to be challenged and stretched, the students who need a little extra help, and the student who does well in the normal situation. We use technology throughout the grades and classes with exciting classes in video editing/broadcast, web page design, online courses, and the tools to survive everyday. There are foreign language programs and exchange programs with Germany, Spain, and England (so that last one is not a foreign language!) How are we doing? The State of Michigan contracts with Standard & Poor's to publish data collected from schools. That data is available at; MISchooldata
Program Variety
We are big enough to offer programs. Check out the performing arts (theatre, vocal music, instrumental music.) There are business courses in retail and financial planning. There are many athletic programs and the district also works closely with the community recreation program. We love seeing kids involved with activities!
Personal Attention
We're also small enough to know you and care about you. We want the "community" in our name to be real. Our elementary schools are located in various communities which fosters the home and school connection. Our WISH (We are Investing in the Students of Hamilton) volunteer program is outstanding and promotes family and community involvement. Our schools are "right sized" so that staff will know your student - often by name. While computers require us to keep all sorts of data by i.d. numbers, we commit to using data to meet your child's educational and social needs. And we'll do it by name!

2024/2025 Enrollment
Enrollment for the 24/25 school year will open February 19. Eligible students must be 5 by September 1, 2024 (or 5 between September 1 and December 1, 2024 with a waiver) to enroll.
Before you log on, please be prepared with the following documents that you'll need to upload:
- Birth Certificate
- Driver's License
- Proof of Residency (utility bill, lease agreement, property tax bill)
- Dental, Hearing and Vision Screening Results (Young Fives/Kindergarten students Only)

School of Choice
If you are not in our district please print the Schools of Choice form and complete it.
The Fall 2024 enrollment schools of choice window is May 9-June 7, 2024 If interested in Fall enrollment please wait to submit your soc form until the window opens.
If you are a non-public student participating in our shared time program you do not need to complete a SOC form.
