Hamilton Community Schools continues to see the positive impact of the 2023 school bond and the incredible support of our Hawkeye community.
One of the most visible upgrades can be found in the Hamilton High School auditorium, where the lighting system has been completely transformed. The district replaced 107 outdated fixtures with 167 new programmable LED lights — improving visibility, energy efficiency, and creative flexibility for performances and school events. These updates not only enhance the learning environment for our performing arts students but also provide a professional-level experience for audiences and presenters alike.

Also thanks to the bond, Hamilton Community Schools has added three brand new Thomas buses — built by a trusted local company known for reliability and cost-effectiveness. Two of these buses will be used for regular daily routes, while the third will serve our Special Education routes, replacing aging vehicles in our fleet and ensuring safer, more efficient transportation for our students.
Hamilton Community Schools is incredibly grateful for the continued support of our community and for helping us keep our students learning — and moving — safely every day.
