Hamilton students took part in Dutch Dance and the Kinderparade during Thursday’s Tulip Time festivities.

Hamilton Community Schools students proudly represented the Hawkeye Family during Thursday’s festivities at the 2026 Tulip Time Festival, participating in both Dutch Dance performances and the beloved Kinderparade in front of thousands of spectators in downtown Holland.

Throughout the day, Hamilton students helped bring one of West Michigan’s most iconic traditions to life. From traditional Dutch costumes and wooden shoes to the energy and excitement along the parade route, our students were part of a celebration that draws families, visitors, and community members from across the region and beyond.

For many students, Tulip Time is a memorable opportunity to celebrate local history, perform with classmates, and be part of a tradition that has been enjoyed for generations. Whether dancing downtown or walking in the Kinderparade, Hamilton students did an outstanding job representing their schools and community.

The district is proud of the many Hawkeyes who participated and thankful for the families, staff members, volunteers, and community organizers who helped make the experience possible.

Thursday’s events once again showed the pride, positivity, and community spirit that Hamilton students bring wherever they go.
