Hawkeye Preschool is preparing for continued growth in the 2026–27 school year with the addition of a unique Farm Preschool experience, offering young learners the opportunity to connect hands-on learning with life on the farm.
Through a partnership with the Critter Barn, students in this program will be immersed in real-world experiences that support early literacy, math, social-emotional development, and communication skills. With weekly visits to the farm and engaging classroom extensions at Sandyview Learning Center, students will build meaningful connections to agriculture, nature, and their learning.
As planning continues for next school year, Hawkeye Preschool is expanding options for families:
- A new AM Farm Preschool class will be offered, with limited openings currently available
- The PM Farm Preschool class is currently full, but families are encouraged to join the waitlist as openings may occur before the start of the school year
- Full-day preschool classes still have availability
3-year-old programs also have openings
Students enrolled in Farm Preschool will participate in both outdoor farm experiences and classroom learning, exploring topics such as animals, planting, and the natural world while developing important kindergarten readiness skills in an engaging environment.
Families interested in enrolling for the 2026–27 school year or joining the waitlist are encouraged to connect with Hawkeye Preschool to learn more about available opportunities for their child. Questions? Contact Whitney Hobbs via email at whobbs@hamiltonschools.us
