The voices of Hamilton High School did a tremendous job at this year’s State Choral Festival on Friday, May 2 at Hope College — and the results speak for themselves. Both the Women’s Chorale and the Honors Choir earned Excellent ratings, marking a historic achievement for the Hamilton vocal music program.
Vocal Music Director Holly Israels shared her excitement, “This is HUGE for us! Women’s Chorale has only earned an Excellent at State three times before — this is the fourth time EVER. And having both choirs earn Excellent ratings in the same year? That might have only happened two or three times total."
