After graduating from Hamilton High School in 2015, it didn't take Cameron Boeve long to return to the district. While in college, Boeve found an internship inside of the Hamilton district and after a position opened up in 2021, she applied. Now in her second year as a full-time employee, she continues to help each student thrive.
"As a school social worker who have Individual Education Plans (IEPs), a lot of that looks like individual check-ins with students, groups, grade level groups, crisis or behavior interventions and mental health interventions with students," Mrs. Boeve explained.
And Mrs. Boeve's students are thankful for her. Carson, a sixth grader, regularly meets with her to chat about school, life, and everything in between.
"I'm thankful for Mrs. Boeve because if she wasn't here, I'd have a lot more bad days," he said.
