Newly elected state representative Luke Meerman stopped by the Hamilton Community Schools administration building on Friday, January 27 to discuss education and school safety with superintendent, Dr. Bradford Lusk.
"At a state level, we're looking to help schools do more of this with School Resource Officers in their buildings, that's why I'm here," Meerman said.
Dr. Lusk announced the hiring of new SRO Deputy Joe Knapp back in November.
"Hamilton is a good, strong district," Meerman added, "Hopefully, we can take this to a state level and take the good things happening here in Hamilton and try to replicate them."
