Looking for a way to get involved in the Hamilton Community? The Hamilton Athletic Boosters has immediate openings for board members, trustees, and volunteers. Without additional team members, it will be difficult for HAB to continue at its current capacity.
The HAB’s responsibilities include fundraising and disbursing the funds to Hamilton Athletic Programs ranging from Recreational Programs to Varsity Programs. The twomain sources of fundraising are concession stand sales, which is over $70,000 in revenue each year and our annual banquet, which accounts for another $50,000. In the school year 2024-2025, the Hamilton Athletic Boosters distributed over $32,000 to our athletic programs, in 2025-2026, the HAB has already distributed over $44,000 and have approved another $23,000 in requests.
If the Hamilton Athletic Boosters is unable to obtain committee members and concession stand volunteers for the upcoming seasons, the availability of concessions will be limited and the annual banquet may be ceased, ultimately shifting the responsibility of fundraising to the individual teams. As a committee, we know that volunteering is not convenient, and are aware of the changing times, fuller calendars and busier lives, so the committee is making changes to current roles, creating concession stand only roles, incentivizing individual and athletic team volunteers, as well as reducing the frequency of board meetings.
