Hamilton Elementary first grade student Jackson is a big fan of semi trucks. In fact, he dedicates most of his recesses to giving the arm tugging honking motion to trucks along M-40 in Hamilton. However, Jackson isn't alone. Every recess, several of his classmates will join him along the Hamilton Elementary fence and plea with drivers to give them a honk as they drive by.
During 20 or so minutes outdoors on Tuesday, June 4, Jackson and his classmates counted 26 vehicles that gave them a honk and with every single one, Jackson would smile and cheer.
It's another reminder of the little things that help build friendships and memories that last a lifetime.
