Hamilton High School opens the 2025-2026 season by presenting A Night of One Acts ‘25. This production features multiple one-act plays presented in a close up 3/4 round staging.

Thursday and Friday, November 6 and 7 performances start at 7pm. On Saturday, November 8, a matinee performance will start at 2pm.

Comedy levels go into overdrive as we open the night with Alan Haehnel’s A Simple Task.
Empie has a simple first assignment at her new job: Retrieve a box of merchandise for the Boss. But what do you do when the box is blocked by a parade of confusing characters? Additionally, your Boss keeps changing identities and you start to question all your career choices. This hilarious comedy will make you wonder if any task is as simple as it seems.

After a short intermission, we close the night with Jeremy Desmon’s American History in 60. Led by the pompous Professor Bartholomew T. Featherstone, you will be transported back to history class for a trip through the full history of America. When informed about a very strict time limit the professor abruptly leaves and a ragtag group of “historians” must take over. As they try to keep the show going, they race through Columbus, Pilgrims, Founding Fathers, the Revolution, the Civil War, the Great Depression, and beyond. The hilarity will keep you rolling in your seats as you see the history of America in new ways.

Audiences of all ages will enjoy this entertaining night of theatre!
