Work Based Learning trips are continuing for Hamilton Middle School students over the next few months. On Tuesday, January 17, Mrs. Bri Schuiteman's sixth grade class took an initial trip to Gentex Corporation in Zeeland. The students were able to see some of the production, ideologies, and principles that the company focuses on.
Students also experienced next-level technology created by Gentex that is utilized in certain vehicles. After their tour, they were brought back to a meeting space to discuss what Gentex looks for in its employees, the hundreds of different jobs available, and also took part in a fun game. In the game, the class was split into two groups and had to utilize communication, science, and team work to help a ball fit into a hoola-hoop consistently.
Take a look at the photos below as a recap to the students visit!
