Julie Woldring is a proud graduate of Hamilton High School. After graduation, she didn't waste much time returning to her alma mater.
"I grew up in Hamilton and the only place I wanted to teach when I got out of college was Hamilton," she smiled. "I love the small town feel, my husband and I made our home in Hamilton and love going to the community events. It has been fun to be part of the community where I teach."
For the past 30 years, Mrs. Woldring has been teaching second and third grade at Blue Star Elementary. She says her favorite part has been building a relationship and connection with students, but she has also had a chance to watch them grow up.
"One of the best parts of teaching for almost 30 years has been having students come back with their children and getting to have their children as students as well," Woldring said.
Our district is so appreciative of Mrs. Woldring and the impact she has had on two generations of Hawkeyes! Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do, Mrs. Woldring!
